"From the moment you enter Jorge and his family's house you feel so welcome and at ease.  Perfectly placed for trips into Cienfuegos centre and also for sunset walks along the side of the bay, the Casa also offers a lovely setting for kicking back and relaxing in the spacious porch, reading a book sitting a rocking chair whilst sipping one of Jorge's fabulous Mojitos.  You couldn't ask for more from Jorge - his English is brilliant, his cooking on the outdoor BBQ sublime, his family welcoming, his good sense of humour and great conversation.  The art deco and 50's architecture of Cienfuegos should really be seen on a visit to Cuba and I can think of no better place than Casa Pinerio in which to stay - I'll recommend it to all.

After the noise and bustle of Havana , Cienfuegos was a welcome relief and I can think of no better place to spend it than at Casa Pineiro. With some of the finest food I have tasted, cooked to perfection, but of course, and the pleasures of spending time with Jorge and his family who are kind and an absolute pleasure to chat with. In the event that we are lucky enough to return to Cuba , Casa Pineiro will be at the top of our list for places to stay in Cuba .”

 Warm greetings from Denmark. We had a splendid holiday in Cuba and once again thank you very much for your contribution. As we agreed I have written a testimonial. It goes like this:

"On my familys Tour de Cuba in 2007/2008 we lived at Jorge's Casa Particulares for some days. We enjoyed it very much. The very nice location at Punta Gorda and Jorge's excellent cooking . But most of all we met a host that completely fulfilled his motto: I'm here for you.

Our luggage arrived 5 days late from the airport - and when it arrived something was missing. Due to reimbursement from our insurance company we had to make a report to the local police. Without Jorge we would still have been in Cuba! This unexpected and very difficult task for non spanish
speaking guests was eventually solved, BUT just due to a caring and very competent host. Thank you Jorge.
